Bee Copper Pendant

70.00

This precious piece has a tiny bee* encased inside on a heavenly bed of Australian native Hardenbergia flowers. Please note that the bee was found already deceased in my yard, no animals were harmed in there making of this piece. As always, my intention with these pieces is not to promote the harm of any animal for any purpose. I find the animals already deceased (or other people do and gift them to me) and I give them a little forever home with flowers. The idea behind my work is to encourage people to appreciate the beauty around them, even on such a miniature scale.

Handcrafted with resin & recycled copper, the pendant hangs on a vegan friendly waxed cotton cord, which is adjustable in length. (Longest length at approximately 31 inches.)

Due to the handmade nature of this work, some slight imperfections such as bubbles, bumps and small holes may occur, but are unique characteristics of the pieces. As each piece is completely made by hand, they will have their own unique beauty and may differ slightly from the images provided.

Please note that whilst resin is strong & durable, it should be treated with care as it can break if dropped or knocked against a hard surface. For long lasting use please keep pieces out of direct sun exposure & do not submerge in water. To return pieces to their original shine, softly buff with a microfibre polishing cloth.

Due to the nature of raw copper, exposure to oxygen and/or water through every day use can change the colouring of the ring slightly. This ageing is completely harmless and quite attractive, however if you do prefer the bright shine of new copper, you can buff it with a soft polishing cloth. Please avoid using any jewellery cleaning chemicals near the resin.
